Born With Faith
I was born with faith and will keep the faith until I draw my last breath. As we go through life, it’s important, now more than ever, that we keep the faith.
KEEP THE FAITH: 3 powerful words to help us get through the toughest of times. And where would we be without our faith? Absolutely nowhere.
We’ve all suffered ups and downs – some of us more than others. But in our darkest of times, those 3 words can help guide us out of the darkness and back into the light. It has been a quite a ride during the last several years – and none of us know what’s ahead for our future. But I do know that no matter what the future holds, be it good, bad or just plain ugly – God will be by our side.
It’s important we remember Him each and every day. Starting your day off with a morning prayer may just give you that confidence you need to get you through a hectic day at work, ease your mind of financial woes, deal with a serious illness or so many other of life’s obstacles. Sometimes those obstacles may even seem higher to climb than Mt. Everest. But remember, as high as Mt. Everest is, folks still continue to climb it and conquer it. Let God be your guide to the top of the mountain.
Below are some prayers I’ve written with the hope you find these helpful as you go through your daily life. Please feel free to share them with friends and family.
A SIMPLE PRAYER by Ann I. Wonder/Wonder Women Sixty
Dear God,
Please help me to always keep the faith, no matter what life brings. Lift my spirits, ease my burdens and grant me peace.
Show me Your light in my darkest hour, so I may follow it home.
A MORNING PRAYER by Ann I. Wonder/Wonder Women Sixty
Dear God,
Thank you for my blessings — past, present and future. Thank you for bringing me this brand new day — this glorious morning.
With each new day you bring me hope, wisdom and new opportunities — I am forever grateful.
Please take care of friends and family who need You the most right now. Watch over the innocent, the lost and lonely — let them know You are by their side.
And when we come to a fork in the road, help us to choose the right path. Finally, dear Lord, keep all of us strong in our faith and beliefs.
Again, thank you God, for this glorious new day.
SIMPLY THANKFUL PRAYER by Ann I. Wonder/Wonder Women Sixty
Thank you God – no request today. Just my “thank you” for everything you’ve provided to all of us. While I have plenty of prayers that need to be answered, they can wait until tomorrow.
Today I am quite simply: THANKFUL.
