Concrete Prayers Can Never Be Broken

When life’s sledgehammer gives you a pounding, stay strong with concrete prayers – those solid prayers to God to help you weather life’s storms. When you have some quiet time to sit and reflect on life in general or specific incidences, having that one-on-one time with God is special – it’s personal. You are sharing your space with only Him – no one else.

As we go through life, this special time with God can help relieve stress and tension. It can help us focus more clearly. Your solid, concrete prayers will not go unheard. Through prayer, we can gain inner strength. We can get guidance when we, by ourselves, seem to be at a loss. Sometimes we reach a crossroad in life, and we just aren’t sure which road to take. Prayers can help with that!

The scent of fall is in the air. The fresh air feels cleansing as the humidity takes a break and the heat goes down. The beginning of a new season gives off a feeling of “renewal” – and that’s a good thing!

Fall is a good time to inhale the scents of the season. Take pause and think about it. A simple thing like a change in the season can subtly enrich our lives with “quiet blessings.”

Embrace fresh picked apples (or caramel apples), pumpkin spiced lattes, the once-a-year scent of fallen leaves, maple syrups, an abundance of squash, pumpkins – just to name a few. Seasonal blessings may seem small or insignificant, but they’re not!

Take advantage of this glorious season. Perhaps visit a local farm to pick apples right off a tree or purchase fresh apple cider or autumn vegetables. Seasonal blessings can be fun, invigorating, and heighten our senses. Let them enrich your life.

And remember, fall is also absolutely the perfect time before a hard chill of winter creeps in, to spend some time outdoors. And while you are outside enjoying a brisk walk or just sitting on a garden bench in contemplation, take the time to focus on your blessings and be thankful. If you got problems (and these days, who doesn’t?), share your burden – He is always listening.

Look for guidance and answers through prayer. Your solid, concrete prayers will cement your connection with God, a connection that can never be broken.
