It’s fall – sweater weather, longer nights. Perfect for walking a trail of colorful autumn leaves, a moonlight stroll or even watching the night sky and nightlights from your home. Fall can be lighthearted and carefree, just like songs from the Monkees, Gordon Lightfoot and countless others. OR fall can be fun, festive and hard rockin’ – just like the Rolling Stones, The Doors, Rick James, etc. Fall can be filled with romantic songs by 60’s groups like The Shangri-Las, The Platters and so on. In other words, FALL can be everything and anything you want it to be!

So let’s give the oldies a workout in the vinyl gym and celebrate these assorted hits from the past – hopefully some will bring back great memories. Others may be “lost hits” you’ve forgotten about, such as 70’s hit, I love You For All Seasons by The Fuzz, a black female trio hailing from Washington, D.C., or Lou Gramm’s solo 80’s hit, Midnight Blue – a real rockin’ song also overlooked from the lead singer of Foreigner. Paul Revere & The Raiders formed in 1960 and had many hits. Often forgotten on the airwaves is their Mr. Sun, Mr. Moon.
